The MTP™ - Fusion System is a bone plate and screw system for the 1st Metatarso-Phalangeal (MTP) joint arthrodesis. The combination of anatomically designed plates with both locking and non locking screw capability, provides a strong and stable construct. The system is made of titanium alloy (TiAl6V4, ASTM F-136).
Indications
- Hallux Rigidus
- Rheumatoid- osteo- and post-traumatic arthritis
- Revision of nonunions
- Failed Keller-Procedure
- Failed arthroplasty
Details
- 2 plate lengths (39 and 52 mm) left and right
- Pre-bent 5° of dorsiflexion and valgus, with ability to contour more depending on patient anatomy
- The plate offers a slotted compression hole proximally for additional compression to the joint
The MTP-Tray includes:
- Cannulated cup and cone reamers for accurate preparation of the 1st MTP joint
- 4.3 mm dia. headless compression screws available in tray for interfragmentary fixation across the joint or 2 screw fixation if soft tissue does not allow use of the plate
