Sterile Packed Instruments & Implants
Having sterile packed implants is now common place within Orthopaedics, especially with large joints. Screws & plates used in trauma surgery are also more often being sterile packed. In Scotland the Scottish Health Executive took the lead by implementing a policy of sterile packed implants only.
