	Revise your thoughts before your implants!.....think Bioball first. - A firmly fixed stem may have too short a neck or incorrect version leading to recurrent dislocations. Bioball is one of the least traumatic ways of dealing with these problems. A cost-effective initial solution for well-fixed yet malpositioned components. - Simply remove the existing head component; trial neck adaptors and heads are then used to correct the biomechanics. Once tissue tension and range of motion has been checked the definitive neck adaptor with pristine morse taper is coupled with the new head (metal or Delta ceramic). The may be no need revise any other part of the total hip replacement. The Bioball allows various alterations to neck length and offset to enable a stable, simple and quick revision without the need for complicated and costly removal of the existing components. - There are Bioball solutions for a large range of current and past hips.
