The product range that WG have selected is one that was chosen to make a real difference to the customers we serve and the patients that are operated on. The Osteobridge® Diaphyseal replacement is an example of a product that is unique to the UK market. It gives the surgeon a modular solution to diaphyseal defects enabling them to treat and restore the function of the femur, tibia, or humerus, without the need of a bespoke prosthesis, which requires a lengthy and expensive manufacturing process. The indications for the Osteobridge® Diaphyseal Replacement are few, however, to those patients who benefit, the outcomes are life changing. This meant that when WG identified the Osteobridge® product the only option was for us to make it available to UK specialist surgeons & their patients.
