With over 25 years of experience in the orthopaedic & medical environment WG is well placed to understand the needs of our customers and the issues they face both inside and outside the operating theatre.
Strong relationships are fundamental to our business; therefore, our aim is to work closely with healthcare professionals to enable them to continue making a difference to their patients. WG want to provide all our customers with products and services that they can depend on. BigFoot 2012 - 'The BigFoot Olympics'
Meeting Review
In a year where the world's attentions will turn to London and the Olympic Games the BigFoot Meeting this year took on a distinctly sporting flavour! We were joined at the Royal Society of Medicine by Danny Crates - a gold medallist Paralympian - as the after-dinner speaker and had a mini-exhibition from Ben Mosley, official artist of Wembley Stadium.
The meeting format remained unchanged from 2011, acting as a forum for presentation, review and discussion on the leading topics of foot surgery, with an added focus on the challenges of minimally invasive foot surgery.......

 Developed with foot surgeons input the WG Healthcare 'HalluxAngles' iPhone app is an invaluable tool for todays foot surgeon. Allowing the measurement of DMAA (Distal Metatarsal Articular Angle), IMA (Inter-Metatarsal Angle) and Inter Phalangeal angles from xray with a high level of accuracy then saving or emailing of these details to allow storage in patient records.

Lima SMR Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty Live Surgery Course

Over 50 surgeons from all over Europe gathered together in a hotel close to the famous 'Hannover Sportsclinic' hospital for 2 days of live surgery discussion based education on the Lima SMR reverse shoulder prosthesis. This learning centre was focussed purely on the pathology, treatment options, surgical hints / tips and revisions of reverse shoulder to allow this complex topic to be discussed in detail. The renowned faculty was led by Dr Alex Castagne from Milan who has huge experience with this prosthesis and Dr Jens Agneskirchner from the Sportsclinic who is an established user of the SMR......
